   Mystic Science - The Oracle

WHAT IS THE ORACLE ?

Centuries ago, an oracle was a special place where people consulted the gods, usually through a priestess. The ancient Greeks were renowned for their use
of oracles, one of the most famous being the Pythian oracle at Delphi, here,
a woman known as the Pythia would fall into a trance, during which she would utter pronouncements believed to come directly from the god Apollo,
priests would then interpret what she said.

One way to talk to the gods was through the oracles, which gave the ancient Greeks a direct line to a deity. Today it is widely believed that the oracles' responses were neither precise nor easily intelligible. They required careful
though and possibly even some intuition, on the part of the seeker to
interpret the often ambiguous message they had been given.

  WHY ORACLES ?

Oracles are especially useful when you need an immediate answer to a question, or when you want to seek guidance about a particular area of your life.
It's the simplest tool to use.

It guides you in the right direction helping you to clear your mind and allow you to see fresh and in a new way.

HOW TO USE THE ORACLES ?

Within its shape, you will see nine numbers. Each number refers to a particular answer that appears on that page. Place the book in front of you, concentrate on your question and rotate the book three times in a clockwise direction. Then, still keeping the question in your mind, point your index finger, close your eyes and put your finger on the page.

Open your eyes to see where your finger has landed within the shape. If it lands directly on the number, consult that number in the list of answers for
the oracle's message. If your finger has landed between two numbers, you can either see which one is nearest and take that as your answer, or you can try again. If after several attempts, your finger has still not landed on a number, you may decide that the oracle does not wish to speak to you at the moment and that you would do better to try again another day When this happens, you may find that the question resolves itself in the meantime so there is no need to ask it again.
